Chinese porcelain famille rose jar & cover. Qianlong Period.


A Chinese porcelain jar and cover, c. 1760, Qianlong Period. The base painted with flowers within shaped, underglaze blue panels, upon an orange cell diaper ground. Having two shell handles, in underglaze blue.
The cover similarly decorated, and having an underglaze blue finial.
Height - 12 cm, 4 6/8".
Diameter (across handles) - 13 cm, 5 1/8".
Condition - Typical, very minor wear to the gilding. Otherwise in perfect condition. No damage. No restoration.
