Chinese porcelain cuspidor, c. 1730, Qianlong Period. The squared form vessel, with canted corners, painted in fencai or famille rose enamels, with butterflies, amongst sprays of flowers. Having a loop handle, painted with a stylised flowering plant in iron red enamel.
Height - 7.5 cm, 3”.
Width - 11.2 cm, 4 3/8”.
Condition - Some fritting to the glaze, and typical wear to the enamel. No restoration.
