Chinese porcelain conical teabowl. Fencai enamels. Yongzheng Period.


A Chinese porcelain conical teabowl, c. 1730, Yongzheng Period. Painted in fencai enamels, with leaf shaped panels of deer before flowering plants. Upon a gilt ground decorated with enamelled flower heads. The interior with a cockerel, beneath a banded border.
Height - 3.5 cm, 1 1/2”.
Diameter - 6.5 cm, 2 1/2”
Condition - Minor wear to the gilt and enamel. Otherwise perfect.

Medium: Porcelain.
