Chinese porcelain 'Chicken Skin' ground vase. Qianlong Period.


A rare Chinese porcelain 'Chicken Skin' ground porcelain vase, Qianlong Period, c. 1760. The pear shaped quatrelobed vase moulded with a chicken skin ground, floral scroll, and shaped panels. The panels painted in famille rose Mandarin style, with figures in garden settings, before river landscapes. All upon an unusual green ground.
Height - 29 cm, 11 1/2".
Condition - Very minor, typical wear to the enamels, commensurate with the vases age. No damage. No restoration.
