Chinese porcelain ‘Klapmuts’ bowl, Kangxi Period.


A Chinese porcelain ‘Klapmuts’ bowl, c. 1700. Painted in underglaze blue, with a pavilion in a garden setting, and a plant issuing from rock work. Having an everted rim, painted with a continuous scene of walled buildings before mountains. The interior with a pagoda in a mountainous landscape.
Diameter - 14.5 cm, 5 3/4”.
Height - 6.5 cm, 2 1/2”.
Condition - Short hairline crack to the rim, and fitting to the rim. No restoration.
