Chinese famille rose ginger jar & cover. Qianlong Period.


A Chinese porcelain ginger jar and cover, c. 1750, Qianlong Period. Painted in famille rose enamels, with flowering plants, amongst rocks, before a garden fence. The reverse with sprays of flowers.
The cover similarly decorated, but having floral sprays in iron red to the rim.
Height - 24.5 cm, 9 5/8".
Width - 23 cm, 9 1/8".
Condition - Typical minor wear to the enamels. Otherwise in perfect condition. No restoration.
