Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester chamberstick - Warwick Castle.

A fine Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester porcelain chamberstick, c. 1810. Painted in the manner of John Pennington, with a titled view of the 'Entrance to Warwick Castle' en grisaille, beneath a yellow wash and within a gilt panel. The reverse of the column, with a gilt seaweed motif, above a salmon pink ground. Having a gilt serpent moulded ring handle, and set upon a circular base, decorated with a stylised, continuous band of gilt scrollwork and flowers.
Titled 'Entrance to Warwick Castle' and impressed BFB beneath a crown mark to the base.

Medium: Porcelain.

Signed/Inscribed: Impressed BFB & Crown mark. Titled - 'Entrance to Warwick Castle.

Height:  8.50 cm, 3.35"

Condition: Typical minor wear to the gilding. Otherwise in perfect condition.
