‘Boy with rabbits’ Art Deco ivory figure group, after Ferdinand Preiss, c. 1920.

‘Boy with rabbits’, an Art Deco ivory group, in the manner of Ferdinand Preiss, c. 1920. Obviously inspired by the bronze sculpture of Peter Pan, by Sir George Frampton, the figure of a young boy is finely carved, playing a pipe, atop a variegated green marble base. Four rabbits are enchanted by the music that the boy plays.
