A Chinese porcelain cup and saucer, c. 1735. Yongzheng. Both items painted in vibrant Famille Rose enamels, with a scroll, depicting two deer before a tree. Set against a flowering tree, on a white ground. The pink enamel borders painted with floral scroll, and panels with flower heads.
The cup with a grooved loop handle.
Diameter of saucer – 11.4 cm. 4 1/2″.
Height of cup – 6.3 cm, 2 1/2″.
