Staffordshire pottery pearlware bust, by Enoch Wood, c. 1830. Well modelled as the Reverend John Wesley, set upon a marbellised squared socle base. Decorated in underglaze and overglaze enamels.
Height – 29.5 cm, 11 5/8”.
Width – 15.5 cm, 6 1/8”.
Depth – 11.5 cm, 4 1/2”.
Condition – Typical wear to the overglaze black enamel – commensurate with its age. Otherwise perfect. No restoration.
