A Chinese porcelain dish, c. 1740, Qianlong Period. Decorated in fencai enamels, with Buddhistic symbols, on tables, amongst flowers, within an octagonal panel, embellished with flowering vine. The rim with further flowers and scrolls, beneath a yellow band with a continuous floral motif in black, with red flowerheads, heightened with gilt.
The reverse with fungus in iron red, around an unglazed footrim.
Diameter – 25.5 cm, 10”.
Condition – Typical minor wear to the enamel. Otherwise in perfect condition. No restoration.
