A fine Nantgarw porcelain dish, c. 1820. Painted by Moses Webster at the London decorating studio of Robbins and Randall, with a profusion of flowers tumbling from a stone urn. The border moulded in low relief, with scrollwork, divided by stylised gilt acanthus leaf decoration.
Impressed ‘NANT-GARW CW’ to the reverse.
Diameter – 21.7 cm, 8 1/2”.
Condition – Typical minor wear to the gilding. Otherwise in perfect condition. No restoration.
