A Chinese rootwood carving, 18th Century, Qing dynasty. Well carved, using the natural features of the wood, as a young boy riding an ox. The gnarled wood being of good colour.
Length – 13 cm, 5 1/8”.
Height – 8.5 cm, 3 3/8”.
Depth – 3 cm, 1 1/4”.
Condition – Natural wear to the wood. No damage. No repair.
