A Satsuma earthenware dish, Meiji Period. The hexagonal shaped dish, hand painted with a gathering of people before a gated wall, beneath a flowering tree, on a river bank.
Signature and Satsuma Mon to the reverse.
Width – 11 cm, 4 3/8”
Condition – Perfect. No damage. No restoration.
