Staffordshire pottery child’s mug, c. 1830. Printed in underglaze blue, beneath a pearlware glaze, with a roundel inscribed ‘A PRESENT for THOMAS’. Set within a rural print, of sheep grazing beneath trees, before a farmhouse.
Having a simple strap handle.
Height – 6 cm, 2 3/8”.
Diameter – 6 cm, 2 3/8”.

Medium: Earthenware

Condition: Small glaze chip to footrim.
