A German Milchglass tankard, c. 1750. The glass boldly painted in enamels, a bunch of flowers, within floral scroll borders. Applied with a simple, folded strap handle. Having a pewter cover, inscribed ‘F.W’, and a pewter footrim.
Height – 22.5 cm, 8 7/8″.
Condition – Firing stress crack to base of handle. Perfect condition. No repair.
