A rare Derby porcelain chamberstick, c. 1760. The leaf scroll moulded chamberstick finely painted with sprays of flowers in the manner of the ‘Cotton Stem’ painter, and having an elaborately moulded scroll handle, heightened in gilt. The moulded sconce painted with four panels of flowers.
Height – 8.2 cm, 3 2/8″.
Condition – Repair to small chip at 5 o’clock. Some typical firing cracks.
