Chinese Dehua blanc de chine prunus blossom teapot. Kang Hsi Period.

A miniature Dehua porcelain teapot and cover, c. 1700. Kang Hsi Period. The teapot moulded to either side with branches of Prunus Blossom, and having a short spout, and simple loop handle. The cover moulded with Ruyi head motif, and a large flower head, around the pierced finial.
The teapot having an unglazed base, the underside of the cover also unglazed.
Height – 8cm, 3 1/8″.
Width – 11.5 cm, 4 1/2″ (Handle to spout)
Condition – Perfect. No damage. No restoration.
