A Staffordshire porcellaneous cottage pastille burner, Samuel Alcock factory, c. 1830. The hexagonal shaped cottage, with a pagoda type roof, and three similar chimneys. Decorated in a lilac coloured glaze, heightened with gilding, and applied with flowering plants.
Impressed number ’47’ to the base.
Height – 17.5 cm, 6 7/8″.
Condition – Typical minor wear to the gilding. Otherwise in perfect condition. No damage. No restoration.
