Chinese porcelain blue & white censer. Wanli Period.

A Chinese porcelain censer, Wanli Period ( 1572 – 1620). Painted in underglaze blue, with a continuous scene of exotic birds amongst flowering plants, beneath a narrow band of trigrams.The rim with three Precious Objects. Set upon three stub feet, modelled as the heads of Mythical beasts.
Having an unglazed interior, and base.
Diameter – 28 cm, 11″.
Height – 9 cm, 3 1/2″.
Condition – Small chip and hairline crack to the rim. Some typical wear to the glaze. Otherwise perfect. No restoration.
