An Enoch Wood, Staffordshire pottery model of a recumbent dog, c. 1830. The Pearlware figure, finely modelled, with well defined moulded hair, & carefully painted details; wearing a red gilt lined collar. The dog laid down upon a grassy mound base, with moulded flowers, leaves & sprigs of grass.
Number ’93’ inscribed in red to the base.
This is a very good example of an Enoch Wood figure, and in excellent condition.
