A Chinese porcelain tea caddy, c. 1750. Qianlong Period. Painted in famille rose enamels, with two children playing with a dog, before a large stand, upon which sits a bowl of fruit, within a shaped panel. The reverse with two ladies before a table. Upon an underglaze blue ground, painted with scrolling foliage.
Having a cover similarly decorated with famille rose vases of flowers, and a bowl of fruit. A simple bud finial surmounts the cover.
